Whimsical Window Display
So the holidays are basically upon us, at least in our house they are. And that means it's time to deck the halls!
We love the vintage look, and to help make that happen I've used windows, just about everywhere. After putting up our holiday decorations, I felt a little something was still missing. With many extra/leftover ornaments I opted to try and make a whimsical window display to warm up the foyer.
Here is the look we managed to achieve.
Our before look was pretty bland. I am certainly happy with how it turned out. It really added a little jest to the space.
Here's how its done
1. Gather up your materials. A few of your favorite looking bulbs (I chose mostly vintage leftovers we had) and some burlap string.
2. Use your handy husband for reaching tall heights. Our foyer has relatively high ceilings. We made it work. Tie the string to the ornaments, then pin/staple them to the top of the window.
3. Final step, add some real or purchased Christmas greens/swag. I found mine at Michaels, it was a 2/1 deal.
